Staxel multiplayer requires a fast, uninterrupted connection for optimal play. If you have a slow or intermittent connection it may impact your gameplay experience.

If you are using "Play With Friends" to host your multiplayer game on Steam, and you or your connecting friends are experiencing latency issues, you should try hosting with the Server Wizard as described below.
Or try the new experimental StaxelNet feature. (Players connect using the StaxelNet address not the steam 'join friend' feature.)

Depending on the platform you own Staxel on, you can launch the Server Wizard as follows:

• On Steam, you can launch the Wizard by right clicking Staxel in your games list and selecting "Launch Dedicated Server".


• On GoG, you can launch the Wizard via the "More" button when viewing the game in your library. In the Dropdown menu select "Other", then "Launch Game Server".


• If you are on Standalone (purchased via Humble Store) you can launch the Wizard via the "Server" button on the Launcher.
